Hello! I'm Jess.

I'm passionate about breastfeeding support, infant and toddler feeding, unsettled baby behaviour, and early speech, language and fluency (stuttering) development for children aged 0–3 years.

Navigating parenthood with my two boys has completely changed my life, including my professional direction. I have a passion to support families to find the joy, understanding and connection in early parenthood.

What I can help you with...

Breastfeeding, Bottle feeding and Starting Solids

Evidence-based support for infant feeding across the first year. I work with families experiencing breast or bottle feeding stress, aversion, reflux, inefficient feeds, or challenges transitioning to solids, using a responsive, neuroprotective developmental care (NDC) approach via telehealth or in person. Speech & Language Assessment & Intervention 0-3 years

Are you, or someone close to you, concerned about your little persons communication, speech, language or talking? I am passionate about speech and language development in the first 3 years of life, and offer assessment and family-centred intervention for children in person (Sunshine Coast south) and Telehealth.

Babies who cry or fuss a lot

Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC/Possums) support for babies with persistent cry-fuss, feeding challenges, or sleep concerns. This approach focuses on the Possums 5-domain approach to infant regulation, neurodevelopment, and parental wellbeing — without rigid schedules or behavioural programs.

Free 15 Minute Introduction Call

A brief phone call to help you decide if I’m the right fit for your baby and family. This is a chance to ask questions, share what’s been worrying you, and get a feel for my approach before booking an appointment.

Deaf & Hard of Hearing Baby Support

Specialist support for Deaf or Hard of Hearing parents, and families raising Deaf or Hard of Hearing babies. I provide guidance on early communication, language development, hearing considerations, and practical adaptations (like baby monitors) to support safety, connection, and confidence.

Follow Up Support

Flexible follow-up options after your initial appointment, tailored to your family’s needs. This may include additional sessions, brief video check-ins, or time-limited messaging support to troubleshoot feeding or regulation concerns as they arise.

Online Workshops

Short, evidence-based 30-minute online workshops for parents and professionals. Designed to be practical, accessible, and developmentally informed, with a focus on feeding, communication, and life with a baby. $25 per household or device. See more...

Multidisciplinary Teams and Collaboration

Collaborative care with GPs, paediatricians, lactation consultants, physiotherapists, psychologists and early childhood services. I contribute expertise in infant feeding and swallowing, communication development, regulation, and neuroprotective developmental care to support coordinated, family-centred decision-making.

Frequently Asked Questions

I support families with babies and toddlers aged 0-3 years.

Yes - I provide evidence-based support for breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and unsettled infant behaviour. For babies, I like to use the Neuroprotective Developmental Care 5-Domain Framework for supporting parents and babies in a holistic way, that takes more than just feeding into account. I also consider parental wellbeing (perinatal mental health), baby's health, feeding, sleep and sensory motor nourishment.

No referral is needed to book an appointment. You or your child may be eligible for Medicare rebates with a GP referral.
